Yep. We celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Jake's
bday............maybe someday I will play catch up. For now, this is it, folks! Although, Jake hasn't had his 2 year checkup yet so perhaps I will still post about his fun
bday!
Today was so fun. Sean had a preschool pajama day. He was thrilled. More than thrilled...I don't think he slept much last night! Anyway, Mike went out and bought the kids new slippers for the big event. (He called me like thirty times trying to find the slippers, size, colors, etc...yes, I should have just gone.) Sean came home after school and told me all about how animals hibernate. His teacher, Miss Alisha, is absolutely the best. Sean adores her and so do I. They made caves for their animals to hibernate in. Too cute.
Jake has been so funny lately. Holy cow. He loves to hide when it's time for bed and when we just "try to ignore it" he does this sound..."
whoo whoo...." (which is also the sound we make when you can't find someone while playing hide-and-seek). Jake has a mind of his own. He throws his food when he's done, holds up his first finger and thumb while dramatically saying "
shhhhhh," and he likes to have his blankets tucked in tight and frequently.
The kids with their
pjs and pillow pets that Grandpa and Grandma Thomas gave them for Christmas.
I seriously adore these kids. They're growing up too fast and I'm not sure how I feel about that. They make me happy and I thank God for them every single night!
